The tech also utilizes service excellence principles toward all their customers.

Requirements

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days of start date and maintain certification throughout employment. This must be obtained prior to providing patient care.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Previous EKG experience preferred, but will train.

Responsibilities

Performs adult, pediatric, and neonatal 12-lead EKG.
Manages general office duties relating to patient records, procedure charges, filing, scheduling, and charting.
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Adheres to patient privacy as stated in policy.
Provides an environment conductive to safety for patients, visitors, and employees.
The EKG Technician will assess risks to patient safety and implement the appropriate precautions.
The EKG Technician will comply with appropriates and approved standards.
