About The Position

The EKG Tech supports the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department by appropriately managing clerical functions, handling and dispositioning documents, maintaining interpersonal relationships, and gathering and dispersing information. The role also provides diagnostic testing to patients to help optimize the care delivered by their physicians.

This is a per-diem position at St Mary's of Nazareth in Chicago, with an evening shift. The stated compensation estimate is a flat rate of $20.74; actual starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion certificate for an EKG course.
• Experience assisting a physician with stress testing.
• Previous office experience; one year preferred.
