About The Position

Revere Health Orthopedics is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Tech Assistant to support its busy team. The role assists with orthopedic procedures and examinations, patient intake and instruction, and maintaining clean, organized, and stocked examination rooms. Prior hands-on casting and bracing experience is a plus, but Revere Health is willing to train an eager candidate. The position requires strong clinical, interpersonal, and computer skills, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced specialty environment. The role is based at various locations throughout Utah County and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Strong clinical, communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations as they apply to healthcare.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond positively in a busy environment.
• Willingness to adapt to change and work at various locations throughout Utah County.
• Ability to treat patients, coworkers, and supervisors with respect, dignity, and courtesy.
• A responsible and professional approach to work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with casting and bracing; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with applying and removing casts and splints.
• Assist with fitting and applying braces and instruct patients on their use and care.
• Assist with basic wound care and provider examinations as directed.
• Greet and room patients; obtain vital signs and medical histories; and accurately document information.
• Prepare and instruct patients before examinations.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
• Attend required staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
