About The Position

Cardinal Points Imaging is currently seeking an experienced Tech Assistant for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center located in Raleigh, NC. This role involves supporting radiology staff, serving as the first clinical point of contact for patients, facilitating patient flow to minimize wait times and maximize resource utilization, demonstrating competence with imaging safety compliance, and acting as a collaborative member of the imaging center team.

Requirements

• One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the radiology staff.
