About The Position

Join our team as a Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance contractor and play a vital role in optimizing and maintaining high-tech production equipment in a climate-controlled environment. This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical skills who thrive in fast-paced, quality-driven settings and are ready to take their technical expertise to the next level. No drug screening required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in equipment maintenance or machine operation
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Proficient in basic pneumatics, electrical, electronic, and hydraulics
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; successful completion of an eye exam
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and production documentation

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of plant policies and detailed departmental procedures

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, change over, troubleshoot, and optimize departmental production equipment to meet/exceed production standards
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs using hand tools, ensuring equipment operates within quality and quantity specifications
• Record accurate equipment logs and downtime details with clear, legible handwriting
• Monitor in-process quality and perform/document all required QC checks and process challenges
• Start up machinery, monitor control panels, replenish components, and confirm safety guards are functional
• Clean part tracks and maintain a neat, orderly production environment
• Notify material handlers of low part supplies and assist with major repairs as needed
• Follow all safety, environmental, and Quality System Requirements (QSR)
