About The Position

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring teammates for its new Going Going Gone! store in Raleigh, North Carolina. Teammates help create an engaging and confidence-building shopping experience for athletes by offering helpful customer service and product knowledge, supporting store merchandising and presentation, and contributing to an inclusive, team-first environment. The position may involve apparel and cashier-related work, with teammates expected to support the team across the store and perform other assigned tasks.

Interviews will be held at a different location; the address will be provided once an interview time is confirmed. For virtual interviews, candidates must keep their cameras on and may not use AI tools during any part of the interview process. Offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check, which may include ID verification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Follow company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss-prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including Federal ATF guidelines.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
