About The Position

Hometown Grocers is hiring associates for part-time, full-time, temporary, and regular opportunities across multiple store departments. Roles are available in Deli, Grocery, Guest Services, Bakery, Meat, Frozen Food & Dairy, and Leadership.

Deli associates take part in cooking and guest service, including preparing items made in the store. Grocery and Frozen Food & Dairy stockers keep aisles stocked, check expiration dates, and replenish empty shelves while interacting with guests. Front End associates provide customer service and help leave guests with a positive final impression. Bakery associates create made-from-scratch baked goods in a range of flavors, shapes, and colors. Meat associates work hands-on with fresh meat products, preparing quality items and serving guests. Leadership opportunities include Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, and Department Lead roles, with multiple schedules available.

Requirements

• For some Deli roles, food service, cooking, retail, restaurant, chef, fast food, grocery, or customer service experience is welcomed.
• Deli applicants without experience may be considered if they have a passion for guest service and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Guest Services applicants should enjoy interacting with people and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment.
• Bakery applicants should be creative and enjoy baking.

Responsibilities
