About The Position

At DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Teammate – Golf helps athletes find suitable equipment and elevate their performance by delivering personalized service, sharing product knowledge, and building meaningful connections. The role contributes to an inclusive store environment and supports athletes of all abilities throughout their shopping experience.

The teammate also helps maintain store presentation and merchandising standards, promotes company programs, follows safety and loss-prevention procedures, and assists the team across the store as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
• Follow policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and safe and are treated with respect.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
