About The Position

This position is a non-covered safety sensitive role requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. The role involves night operations and requires the ability to coach and train employees during sort operations, prioritize assignments, and make quick decisions. Effective verbal communication and delegation skills are essential in a time-sensitive, noisy operational environment. A good understanding of FedEx systems and operations is also required.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Six (6) months FedEx handler experience
Preferably three (3) months work experience in work area which has the open position.
Ability to successfully complete basic and re-currency training.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
Good human relations and communications skills.
Good understanding of FedEx systems and operations.
