About The Position

Family Farm and Home is hiring a Team Member to support store operations and provide exceptional customer service. The role contributes to the company mission by helping customers, maintaining store appearance, stocking and recovering merchandise, assembling products, operating the cash register, and keeping store areas clean and safe. Team Members carry out priorities assigned by store management, use company systems to receive tasks and complete customer orders, and help with promotional signage, pricing, freight, and merchandising. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Promote Family Farm and Home’s mission statement and family values.
Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
Use Farm Hand to receive communications and tasks from the corporate office and store management.
Greet customers entering and exiting the store and interact with them in a pleasant, positive manner.
Encourage customers to sign up for company programs, including the loyalty program, extended warranties, add-on initiative, financing, and Item of the Month.
Answer phone calls professionally and assist customers in-store and through supported internet sites, including processing special orders.
Use the POS system to check out customers and follow cash-handling procedures.
Use On the Go to complete POGs and mass layouts in the correct store locations.
Use Harvester to complete online customer orders.
Explain and support financing options and use financing websites to complete customer credit inquiries.
Help set promotional signage, price changes, clearance prices, and other in-store signage as directed.
Assist with freight, recovery, and out-of-stock processes.
Achieve passing scores on corporate store audits, assessments, and store walks.
Monitor in-store safety issues and shoplifting activity and communicate potential issues to store management.
Uphold and support company Loss Prevention measures.
Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and efficiently if at least 18 years old.
Help build and assemble store displays, products, and fixtures.
Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, receiving area, cash office, register area, restrooms, and break room.
Uphold merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Assist with completing the Daily Operational standards checklist.
Contribute to a positive working environment for all team members.
Perform other duties assigned by store management or company officials.
