Team Manager - Plant Engineering
About The Position
The Plant Engineering Team Manager is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and new installations within the Cleveland Engine Plant. The job is accomplished through working with hourly (UAW / IBEW) Skilled Trades, Construction Commodity Manager (CCM), and Contracted Services. Funding for the work comes from the maintenance budget and capital funding, which requires managing budgets and writing appropriation requests. The Team Manager will be expected to work with local employees (represented and non-represented Ford personnel, as well as non-Ford personnel) and communicate with functional skill teams, Suppliers, FordLand, and the management team.
Requirements
- Experience working with hourly (UAW / IBEW) Skilled Trades
- Experience working with Construction Commodity Manager (CCM)
- Experience working with Contracted Services
- Budget management skills
- Experience writing appropriation requests
