Full-Time Team Leader
About The Position
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is seeking a full-time Team Leader for its City Centre shop in Houston. Team Leaders lead shifts and perform limited executive functions, including inventory management and handling deposits. They serve as coaches and role models, are experts in on-the-line operations and service, and help shifts run smoothly while providing world-class customer service. Training focuses on daily operations, training and coaching Ambassadors, and communicating with leadership. The role typically includes variable shifts—such as opening, closing, and weekend shifts—and requires reliable, predictable attendance. The estimated average hourly earnings in Houston are $19.94, based on the 2026 base pay rate and the 2025 hourly tip average; actual 2026 tips may vary. In Texas, if average hourly earnings fall below $18.50 during a two-week pay period, Jeni’s will make up the difference so earnings reach that amount for the period. Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and help ensure shop operations run smoothly.
