About The Position

Papillion Foods, a Hormel Foods facility located in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a Team Leader. This state-of-the-art, 535,000 sq. ft. plant specializes in producing premium salami and dry sausage products under the Columbus® Craft Meats brand, as well as iconic Hormel® products like Hormel Pepperoni and Black Label Bacon. The facility is equipped with advanced sustainability initiatives, including automated guided vehicles, ergonomic lifting systems, and energy-efficient LED lighting. The Team Leader will be responsible for leading and supporting team members in daily plant operations, driving production and quality performance, ensuring availability of staffing, materials, and equipment, and supporting continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and customer service. The role also focuses on fostering an engaged, team-oriented work environment, with approximately 80% of the time spent on the production floor. The current shift is pending a qualified candidate and requires openness to either 1st or 2nd shift.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 18 years or older
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and initiative skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in production or food manufacturing
• Prior leadership roles (Shift Lead, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, etc.)
