The Sanitation Team Leader's responsibility is to manage a sanitation team and monitor and ensure proper sanitation for the facility. This role requires managing, coaching, and developing the sanitation team, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and TPM principles. The position involves working flexible hours, including weekends, and requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in challenging environmental conditions (wet, dusty, ladders), and safely handle chemicals. The Team Leader is also responsible for writing work orders for equipment repair, maintaining sanitation training matrices and verification records, preparing lines for pre-op inspections, and assisting other departments as needed. A positive and respectful attitude, along with a commitment to safety and reporting any incidents, is essential.
