About The Position

This position is for a Team Leader in the Sanitation Department, working the 3rd Shift from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Extended hours and weekends may be required. Team Leaders may work in environments with temperatures below 40 degrees and above 60 degrees. The role involves leading team members, managing production and quality goals, ensuring resource availability, supporting continuous improvement, and fostering an engaged workforce. Team Leaders are expected to be on their feet in the production area approximately 80% of the shift.

Requirements

• 1+ year as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc. OR Associates Degree.
• Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good attendance record
• Strong computer skills (AS400, Mainframe, Microsoft Office)
• Strong organizational skills along with a sense of urgency and personal accountability.
• Self-Motivated and a strong commitment to personal development

Responsibilities

• Leads team members in the distribution process
• Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals.
• Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules.
• Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met.
• Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve business results.
