About The Position

The Team Leader position is within the Distribution Department and operates on the 3rd Shift from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Extended hours, including weekends, may be required. Team Leaders may work in environments with temperatures below 40 degrees and above 60 degrees. The role involves leading team members in the distribution process, managing them to achieve production and quality goals, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources such as materials, equipment, and staffing. A key aspect of the role is supporting continuous improvement processes to meet goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service, while fostering an engaged and team-oriented workforce to enhance business results. Team Leaders are expected to be on their feet in the production area approximately 80% of their shift.

Requirements

1+ year as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc. OR Associates Degree.
Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Good attendance record
Strong computer skills (AS400, Mainframe, Microsoft Office)
Strong organizational skills along with a sense of urgency and personal accountability.
Self-Motivated and a strong commitment to personal development

Responsibilities

Leads team members in the distribution process
Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals.
Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules.
Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met.
Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve business results.
Team Leaders are usually "on their feet" in the production area about 80% of the shift.
