About The Position

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of key warehouse processes: Receiving, Put-Away, Picking, Sorting, and Shipping. The Team Leader ensures a smooth and consistent operation so all distribution process function properly.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • PIV Experience (Forklift, High Reach)

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in distribution

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs
  • Ensure that product defects are repaired, minimized, and returned to proper location
  • Monitor product inventory and communicate with Material Handling
  • Assist all Team Members to ensure the production continues to move
  • Create and maintain a positive working environment that enhances team spirit
  • Meet daily production goals through continuous improvement and teamwork
  • Coach, counsel, and provide guidance and on-the-job-training to Team Members
  • Communicate with Team Members concerning expectations, performance, and any changes
  • Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization
  • Ensure that all work is performed within specification
  • Maintain housekeeping to 5S standards
  • Conduct or participate in team and safety meetings, and promote safety within the workplace
  • Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
  • Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
  • Overtime and weekend work as required
  • All other job duties as assigned
