About The Position

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of key warehouse processes: Receiving, Put-Away, Picking, Sorting, and Shipping. The Team Leader ensures a smooth and consistent operation so all distribution process function properly.

Requirements

Basic computer skills
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
PIV Experience (Forklift, High Reach)

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in distribution

Responsibilities

Ensure Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs
Ensure that product defects are repaired, minimized, and returned to proper location
Monitor product inventory and communicate with Material Handling
Assist all Team Members to ensure the production continues to move
Create and maintain a positive working environment that enhances team spirit
Meet daily production goals through continuous improvement and teamwork
Coach, counsel, and provide guidance and on-the-job-training to Team Members
Communicate with Team Members concerning expectations, performance, and any changes
Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization
Ensure that all work is performed within specification
Maintain housekeeping to 5S standards
Conduct or participate in team and safety meetings, and promote safety within the workplace
Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
Overtime and weekend work as required
All other job duties as assigned
