Requirements

5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
MIG Welding experience
Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Computer literacy for tracking and reporting production metrics

Nice To Haves

Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
Previous experience leading small teams (around 5 members)
Knowledge of safety standards and practices in manufacturing environments
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic production setting

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of a production team of 5 operators and technicians on the 2nd shift to meet daily manufacturing goals.
Train, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork on the shop floor.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
Collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve operational challenges efficiently.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, downtime, and quality metrics to ensure transparency and continuous monitoring of production performance.
Oversee daily production floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met.
