About The Position

The Team Leader is responsible for assisting all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications. This role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work area with good housekeeping techniques. The Team Leader is authorized to cease production if parts do not meet quality standards, with the approval of the Area Manager/Team Leader and Q.C. Manager. They will be involved in process improvement teams and assist the Area Manager in ensuring team members understand work-specific instructions and instruction sheets. Adherence to all safety regulations and reporting of safety concerns are crucial. The Team Leader will also report all mishits and ensure/assist Team Members in the correct utilization and completion accuracy of paperwork, including tags, uptime reports, set-up checklists, Production Logs/Flip Charts, and production reports. Checking that last piece samples are complete by Team Members is also a responsibility. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.

Nice To Haves

Previous Team Leader experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Keeping work area clean, neat, orderly, and possess good housekeeping techniques.
Authorizing to cease production, if parts do not meet quality standards, with the approval of the Area Manager/ Team Leader and Q.C. Manager.
Involved in process improvement teams working with parts as required.
Assisting Area Manager in ensuring that team members understand all work specific instructions instruction sheets.
Adhering to all safety regulations and reporting any safety concerns to the Area Manager/Team Leader.
Reporting all mishits to the Team Leader/ Area Manger.
Ensuring/ assisting Team Members in utilization of the correct paperwork and completion accuracy including tags, uptime reports, set-up, check lists, Production Logs/ Flip Chars & production reports.
Checking to ensure last piece samples are complete by Team Members.
Other duties as assigned.
