The Team Leader is responsible for assisting all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications. This role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work area with good housekeeping techniques. The Team Leader is authorized to cease production if parts do not meet quality standards, with the approval of the Area Manager/Team Leader and Q.C. Manager. They will be involved in process improvement teams and assist the Area Manager in ensuring team members understand work-specific instructions and instruction sheets. Adherence to all safety regulations and reporting of safety concerns are crucial. The Team Leader will also report all mishits and ensure/assist Team Members in the correct utilization and completion accuracy of paperwork, including tags, uptime reports, set-up checklists, Production Logs/Flip Charts, and production reports. Checking that last piece samples are complete by Team Members is also a responsibility. Other duties as assigned.
