About The Position
The Team Leader is responsible for assisting all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications. This role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work area, ensuring quality standards are met, and participating in process improvement teams. The Team Leader also assists the Area Manager in ensuring team members understand work instructions, adhere to safety regulations, and accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
- Previous Team Leader experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications.
- Keep work area clean, neat, orderly, and possess good housekeeping techniques.
- With the approval of the Area Manager/ Team Leader and Q.C. Manager, cease production if parts do not meet quality standards.
- Involved in process improvement teams working with parts as required.
- Assist Area Manager in ensuring that team members understand all work specific instructions instruction sheets.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and report any safety concerns to the Area Manager/Team Leader.
- Report all mishits to the Team Leader/ Area Manger.
- Ensure/ assist Team Members in utilization of the correct paperwork and completion accuracy including tags, uptime reports, set-up, check lists, Production Logs/ Flip Chars & production reports.
- Check to ensure last piece samples are completed by Team Members.
- Other duties as assigned.
