Team Leader IV - Emergency Department - Full Time Nights
About The Position
The Team Leader IV supervises the work of five or more employees during an assigned shift and reports to the manager or supervisor. The role assigns and follows up on employees’ work within the unit or department, planning work to support maximum production and efficiency. The Team Leader promotes interdepartmental and intradepartmental communication, responds positively to job demands and changes through organizational and time-management practices, and supports positive patient-care outcomes and the Center’s mission. The role performs performance QA, participates in interviewing employee candidates, enforces FMC policies and procedures, informs the Manager or Assistant Manager of concerns or problems, and counsels employees on issues.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in nursing.
- Valid license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
- Two years of experience in the appropriate nursing specialty.
