About The Position

The Team Lead helps operate the store and assumes key responsibilities when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent. The role supports store management by overseeing team tasks and performance, assisting with training and inventory, and ensuring the store delivers helpful customer service and meets company standards. The Team Lead also works with management to achieve sales and productivity goals and carry out activities intended to increase store traffic.

Responsibilities

Open and close the store when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.
Handle assigned safety and security responsibilities.
Oversee tasks assigned to the store team and oversee the team in management’s absence to support performance and customer service.
Assist in training the store team.
Assist with inventory maintenance and general housekeeping.
Oversee merchandise receiving, shipment processing, store stocking, and management of cash and receivables as assigned or when management is absent, following company procedures.
Work with the management team to achieve sales and productivity goals.
Help maintain store equipment and fixtures in good working condition.
Work with management to develop and execute ideas and activities to increase store traffic.
Ensure end-caps, cross-merchandising, and feature displays are properly merchandised and maintained.
Set an example by consistently providing excellent customer service to Rocky’s customers.
Resolve customer complaints promptly, courteously, and discreetly.
Authorize acceptance of checks in accordance with company policy.
Help process weekly hot sheets and price adjustments, ensuring store bin tagging is completed promptly.
Attend mandatory monthly store meetings.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by store management.
