About The Position

Being a Team Lead at a child care center involves mentoring and supporting Teachers while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children. The Team Lead may be responsible for or assist with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow Teachers. In the Director’s or Assistant Director’s absence, the Team Lead takes on their duties, including opening and closing the school. The role also ensures the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.

Responsibilities
