About The Position
Clarks is hiring a part-time Team Lead to support store operations and sales. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, the Team Lead serves as Manager on Duty. The role includes organizing merchandise and back stock, overseeing shipments, maintaining a clean work environment, and helping train and coach employees on company policies and procedures. Team Leads are expected to provide excellent customer service, support sales through appropriate upselling, exemplify the Clarks brand, follow loss-prevention and shrinkage policies, and foster a comfortable work environment for colleagues. The position requires standing for extended periods, frequent bending, climbing and moving ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.
- Consistently deliver positive sales performance.
- Organize store merchandise and back stock and ensure products are placed properly.
- Oversee receipt of shipments and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist with training and coaching employees on policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Upsell customers on multiple pairs of shoes and accessories when appropriate.
- Exemplify the Clarks brand.
- Follow loss-prevention and shrinkage policies and procedures.
- Create a comfortable work environment for colleagues.
