About The Position

The Team Lead promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction makes up at least 50% of the weekly schedule. The role communicates with families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success, and is responsible for or assists with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow Teachers. The Team Lead creates interactive learning experiences for preschool children, assumes Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence (including opening and closing the school), and ensures children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.
