About The Position

The Team Lead at La Petite Academy of Fitchburg promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction makes up at least 50% of the weekly schedule. The role includes building relationships with families, mentoring and training Teachers and new hires, and creating interactive learning experiences for preschool children. The Team Lead also assumes Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school, and ensures children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.
