About The Position

The Team Lead assists with overseeing gym operations to ensure a positive member experience. The role supports staff training and development, member service, front-desk operations, team member management, club cleanliness, marketing, and inventory. The Team Lead also provides backup support to the Club Manager as needed and helps ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to stand and walk for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to talk in person or on the phone for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for less than 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Assist in training and developing staff.
Assist with member service oversight and ensure staff provide a great customer experience.
Handle front-desk tasks, including answering calls politely, responding to questions and concerns, and taking information calls.
Assist with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and updates to member account information.
Greet prospective members and provide gym tours.
Help address member service issues and questions.
Assist with team member management and provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Help create and maintain a positive image for the club.
Assist with overseeing gym cleanliness and appearance.
Assist in managing marketing efforts and ensure team members know about and are trained on current promotions.
Assist with ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and tracking reports as needed.
