About The Position

A Team Lead at a child care center helps create fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children and supports the daily operation of the school. The role includes mentoring and training new hires and fellow Teachers, ensuring children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and taking on Director or Assistant Director duties when either is absent, including opening and closing the school.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for or assist with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow Teachers.
