About The Position

The Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader is responsible for leading daily warehouse and shipping operations to ensure efficient material flow, accurate order fulfillment, and on-time customer delivery. This role coordinates labor, inventory, equipment, and transportation resources to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while enforcing Standard Work, 5S+, and safe operating practices. The Team Leader oversees all warehouse activities and outbound shipping processes—including picking, staging, shipment verification, and carrier coordination—and partners with cross-functional teams and shift leaders to ensure clear communication, smooth handoffs, and uninterrupted operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Greenwood facility to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end materials process to safely produce and deliver quality products on time in alignment with Standard Work.
  • Provide leadership for raw material warehouses and assembly parts storerooms, including overall operations at the Hodges (Lake Greenwood) facility.
  • Plan and optimize warehouse operations and material flow within the facility and with external processes (e.g., paint/plating).
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, discrepancy investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance, including adherence to 5S+, EHS guidelines, PPE, and all company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory health by identifying and addressing excess and obsolete materials and ensuring accurate transactions and balances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure material availability and operational alignment.
  • Guide and adapt team operations to changing priorities, material shortages, and staffing needs while maintaining performance standards.
  • Promote safe material handling practices, including proper lifting techniques and use of assist equipment; May lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodation.
