About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing and executing various inventory management and auditing tasks within the warehouse, focusing on accuracy and process compliance. The position involves leading cycle counts, auditing outbound shipments, verifying inventory movements, conducting root cause analysis, ensuring process adherence, and validating system accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and execution of daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
  • Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Audit outbound shipments prior to loading to verify the accuracy of materials, quantities, and documentation.
  • Ensure proper loading procedures are followed to meet customer requirements and compliance standards.
  • Conduct random and scheduled audits of pull and put-away activities to ensure proper execution of inventory transactions.
  • Track recurring errors and work cross-functionally to reduce inaccuracies and assist on researching hold locations.
  • Analyze error trends across inventory handling and develop reports summarizing findings.
  • Offer actionable recommendations to improve accuracy and reduce repeat issues.
  • Ensure that all audited procedures comply with documented standards.
  • Recommend updates to SOPs based on audit findings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Validate that system entries (e.g., inventory adjustments, location changes) match physical product movement.
  • Escalate inconsistencies and assist in correction.
