This position reports directly to the Head of HR, Sector USA and will be a part of the Human Resources team. The Team Lead, Talent Acquisition for North America is a strategic people leader responsible for leading a team of Talent Acquisition professionals and ensuring the overall effectiveness of talent acquisition across the region. This role focuses on building a high performing team, driving consistent recruiting standards, and delivering results aligned with business needs. As the senior Talent Acquisition partner to executive and senior leaders, the Team Lead personally handles the most critical and complex searches and provides workforce planning and market insight beyond individual requisitions. The role also serves as the primary North America liaison to the corporate Talent Acquisition team, translating global strategy into regional execution while aligning to enterprise standards and local talent market needs.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including senior level and executive recruiting across multiple functions and geographies
  • 2–3+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and development
  • Proven experience owning or co owning TA performance at a regional or divisional level, with accountability for KPIs and stakeholder outcomes
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders (VP+), including workforce planning and executive searches
  • Strong collaboration experience with corporate or global TA teams on programs, standards, or cross regional initiatives
  • Advanced expertise with enterprise ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS) and ATS governance or adoption
  • Expert level sourcing skills, including executive search approaches and passive candidate engagement
  • Strong executive communication and presence; comfortable presenting TA insights to senior stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of US employment law; familiarity with Canada and Mexico preferred
  • Experience designing and scaling TA processes, playbooks, and recruiting frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, setting clear goals, managing performance, and building long-term capability and accountability
  • Manage workload and requisition distribution based on capacity, skill, and development opportunity, rebalancing as priorities shift
  • Foster a high-trust, high-accountability culture where open feedback, continuous learning, and business impact are clearly understood
  • Establish a strong operating rhythm across the team, including 1:1s, team forums, and pipeline reviews to ensure alignment, capacity balance, and risk mitigation
  • Own performance management, hiring, onboarding, and development of TA team members, fostering a high-trust, high-performance culture
  • Oversee the overall performance and effectiveness of the North America Talent Acquisition function, ensuring consistent delivery and strong business partnership
  • Define, track, and report TA KPIs and SLAs, translating results into business insights and continuous improvement actions
  • Design and govern the NA TA operating model, including processes, tools, standards, compliance, and enablement resources
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies, piloting solutions, and scaling successful practices
  • Serve as a senior strategic TA partner to senior leadership, leading workforce planning and advising on talent and labor market dynamics
  • Personally manage senior, executive, and high-complexity searches requiring discretion, advanced market intelligence, and executive advisory capability
  • Act as the primary NA liaison to Corporate and Global TA, driving alignment, adoption of global programs, and integration of local market needs
  • Set sourcing strategy, pipeline architecture, and employer brand execution across North America to enable sustainable, high-quality hiring outcomes
