About The Position

Lifemark is seeking a passionate healthcare professional to take on the role of Team Lead, Rehab within their specialized Return to Work (RTW) Program in Grande Prairie, AB. This role offers an opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, focusing on guiding a rehabilitation team and supporting clients in their return to meaningful employment. The program provides interdisciplinary rehabilitation services, working collaboratively with funders, employers, and healthcare professionals to create individualized plans for recovery and successful return-to-work outcomes. This position is permanent and full-time, with a schedule of Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Active registration and good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory college (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Kinesiology).
  • Professional liability insurance (as required).
  • Strong communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivering outstanding client experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team coordination experience is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Desired experience working within Return to Work, occupational rehabilitation, WCB, disability management, or interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
  • Conduct regular team meetings.
  • Mentor clinicians and encourage ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members.
  • Maintain an active clinical caseload while delivering evidence-informed, patient-centered care.
  • Provide consultation and co-treatment support to clinicians as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize client outcomes.
  • Support best practices and clinical excellence across the program.
  • Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation to ensure efficient program delivery.
  • Monitor operational performance, rehabilitation outcomes, client satisfaction, and funder expectations.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve program quality, efficiency, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation that meets regulatory and funder requirements.
  • Complete quality assurance reviews and documentation audits.
