About The Position

The Team Lead – Order Fulfillment leads the Order Fulfillment team and provides a welcoming environment and excellent service to customers. The role supports curbside pickup by checking in customers for scheduled appointments, confirming order details, using internal software systems to fulfill orders, coordinating order retrieval with warehouse staff, verifying and scanning out items, answering questions, resolving or directing customer concerns, and processing returns. Returned items are inspected for damage and inventory is updated. The position is based in Chicago (Addison), Illinois, reports to the Order Fulfillment Supervisor, and is scheduled Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
Comfort using computers and various software programs.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Problem-solving skills to handle customer inquiries and return issues.
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently.
Ability to work at a fast pace in a goal-driven environment.
Ability to perform daily activities involving seeing, hearing, use of hands and fingers, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping.
Ability to communicate with others through talking, hearing, listening, and exchanging communication.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors as business needs require and safely manage varying weather and environmental conditions while following company safety policies and using appropriate protective equipment.
Must reside and work in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead the Order Fulfillment team and provide excellent customer service.
Greet customers in the parking lot and check them in for scheduled pickup appointments.
Confirm order details and provide necessary information to customers.
Use internal software systems to manage and fulfill customer orders.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order retrieval.
Verify order accuracy, ensure customers have all purchased items, and scan items out.
Answer customer questions and address concerns; resolve issues or direct them to the appropriate team members.
Process customer returns according to company policies and procedures.
Inspect returned items for damage and update inventory accordingly.
