About The Position

The Lead Order Fulfillment Agent works with the Order Fulfillment team to ensure orders are properly accounted for in the statewide seed-to-sale tracking system and internal sales portal. Reporting to the Order Fulfillment Manager, this role tracks incoming and outgoing orders and follows up on discrepancies. The position also supports staff with procedures, inventory tracking, documentation, compliance checks, and training new hires. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role requires work around plant material, which may involve exposure to pollen or dust, and may require prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, or repetitive hand movements, as well as lifting up to 50 pounds to torso level.

Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a fast-paced factory, production, or manufacturing environment with measurable goals and working standards; 2–3 years is preferable.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time-management skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must comply with legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
Ability to work around plant material, potentially including exposure to plant pollen or dust.
Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and perform repetitive hand actions for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to torso level.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated experience training, leading, or mentoring junior staff or new hires.
Prior experience with point-of-sale applications.
Knowledge of medical cannabis law, medicinal benefits, and professional cannabis exposure.

Responsibilities

Serve as a role model and resource for production staff on products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and regulatory changes.
Create and update manifests for outgoing deliveries.
Review manifests for incoming products and follow up on concerns or questions.
Complete required company and state paperwork in an organized and timely manner.
Work with the Order Fulfillment Manager and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or inaccurate data.
Coordinate with management to ensure accurate information and documentation are provided.
Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis laws and regulations.
Coordinate inventory-tracking procedures with the Order Fulfillment Manager.
Assist employees in properly documenting required information throughout procedures.
Assist with onboarding, training, and integration of new hires, coordinating with the Order Fulfillment Manager and production personnel as needed.
Accurately reflect cannabis and non-cannabis inventory in Cresco's and the state's inventory tracking systems.
Perform compliance checks on finished goods, including label verification.
Maintain alertness to uphold safety standards for employees, products, and the facility.
