About The Position

Pennylane is seeking a motivated professional for a Team Lead role within their Partner Solution Specialist (PSS) team, focusing on medium-sized accounts. This role involves leading and developing a team responsible for guiding accounting firms through their transition to Pennylane. The team's primary function is to ensure data compliance and alignment with the Pennylane platform, requiring a blend of technical expertise, deep understanding of business processes, and strong management skills. Requirements

  • Accounting degree (IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA).
  • Experience in an accounting firm, ideally with prior migration projects.
  • Team management experience in a demanding, project-delivery environment.
  • Ability to build and track production KPIs.
  • Methodical and structured approach with attention to deadlines.
  • English level A2.
  • Leadership: ability to engage and develop team skills through constructive feedback and tension management.
  • Client relations: excellent interpersonal skills, service-oriented, and client satisfaction focused.
  • Cross-functional communication: ability to collaborate with Product, PSA, Project Managers, and Sales teams.
  • Speak English (level assessed and appreciated based on the department).
  • Appreciation for working in a constantly changing environment.
  • Prioritize collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders.
  • Sufficient perspective to prioritize high-impact business actions in daily activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 8 people, including recruitment, coaching, development, and evaluations.
  • Distribute workload and manage priorities in collaboration with Project Managers, Partner Solution Architects, Account Executives, and Education teams.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture focused on employee ramp-up, meeting client deadlines, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evolve key team KPIs.
  • Oversee the migration project pipeline, including prioritization, resource allocation, and deadline management.
  • Ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Manage escalations and complex situations.
  • Propose process optimizations for Ops teams (Salesforce, migration pathways, 'monitored migration' management).
  • Monitor and manage the launch of a new service offering for smaller firms ('monitored migration').
  • Leverage accounting knowledge to make decisions aligned with client (accounting firm) needs.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in IT tools and software to understand daily interactions with internal and external partners.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Partner Solution Architects, Project Managers, Product, Training, and Ops teams.
  • Represent the PSS - Medium accounts team within the organization.
