Team Lead Maintenance
About The Position
Grounds Guys is seeking a Landscaping Maintenance Team Lead to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity for career advancement as the company expands. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to getting the job done. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing field operations, including quality control, equipment maintenance, structuring routes, managing employee schedules, and ensuring the team stays organized and on task. You will also provide support to staff, resolve inter-employee issues, ensure necessary training is provided, and prepare for the next day's operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.
- Proficiency in operating and performing preventative maintenance on mowers, trimmers, edgers, etc.
- Willingness to complete training to obtain required certifications and licenses within 6 months, if required.
- Clean driving history.
- Experience driving a trailer.

Responsibilities
- Manage field operations, including walking job sites, checking for quality control, and ensuring equipment is maintained.
- Structure routes, manage employee schedules, and keep crew members organized and on task.
- Provide support to staff, find solutions for issues that arise among employees, and ensure team members have the training they need.
- Ensure all tasks are completed and set for the next day.
