About The Position

This Team Lead posting is for either the TYRX III CEA 4, Legacy TYRX CEA 3, or TYRX Final Pack team. Responsibilities may include leading production team work processes, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by a supervisor. This role prioritizes the use of operators according to the build schedule, communicates process issues, and provides status updates to the team supervisor. The Team Lead coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem-solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed, and ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld. This position falls under the PRODUCTION SUPPORT CAREER STREAM, providing support in manufacturing operations and/or distribution centers including assembly, machinery, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of company products. It may involve setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation, reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities in machines, and potentially making adjustments to methods and processes. Involvement in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage of products in distribution centers may also occur.

Requirements

  • Requires advanced knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems, and tools gained through experience and/or relevant training, education, or certifications.
  • Requires 5+ years of related experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification.
  • No minimum education requirement.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • Candidates for roles below the Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
