About The Position

This role involves completing all regular work in addition to lead responsibilities. The Team Lead I will monitor product quality, workmanship, and method application within the department, ensuring production schedules and standards are met. This position requires planning work schedules, assigning duties to maintain adequate staff, and responding to fluctuating workloads. The Team Lead I will instruct, train, guide, and assist employees in performing their duties, and will assess and help resolve production problems such as unavoidable delays, material shortages, and equipment malfunctions. They will also suggest preventative and corrective measures for future problems, coordinate equipment repairs to avoid excessive downtime, and ensure adherence to all safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety throughout the team. Additionally, the Team Lead I will provide feedback and may participate in performance assessments and disciplinary proceedings when necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Three years of related manufacturing experience.
