About The Position

The Team Lead I - Packaging guides and trains production employees and coordinates quality checks on an assigned production line. The role assigns plant operations during the shift, works to meet production schedules, and maintains employee and product safety. It also involves monitoring usage and paperwork while emphasizing production and quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Ability to follow up, be punctual and outgoing, communicate and work well with others in a plant environment, and successfully multitask.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the location of application; work authorization sponsorship is not available.

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct 12–40 employees.
• Assign plant operations during the shift.
• Meet production schedules.
• Maintain employee and product safety.
• Coordinate quality checks on the assigned production line.
• Monitor usage and paperwork.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, and other associations, regulatory agencies, and company staff.
