About The Position

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking passionate and caring Team Lead - Home Support Workers to join their exceptional team. This role involves providing high-quality personal care services in accordance with care plans, policies, and procedures. The Team Lead will assist clients with personal hygiene, exercises, meals, and medication reminders, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. The position requires behavioral experience or equivalent life experience due to the nature of the care required. The role also involves staff scheduling and supervision, home management, monitoring monthly funding allowances, attending client care meetings, liaising with family and professionals, and managing clients' community access. The role requires the use of an owned vehicle with client carrier insurance.

Requirements

Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)
Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
Behavioral experience in a similar position, or life experience in which similar duties were completed.
Own vehicle will be required, with client carrier insurance.
3 supervisory references
A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
Proof of being negative for TB.

Responsibilities
