About The Position

The purpose of this role is to deliver exemplary guest experience during their meal service at all food and beverage full-service assignments; in the absence of a Supervisor/Manager, the Team Lead will be the senior staff member on shift. Blue Mountain Resort is Ontario’s largest mountain resort, nestled on the shores of Southern Georgian Bay, on the traditional territory of the Anishinabek Nation. It is a four-season outdoor destination, owned by Alterra Mountain Company, a family of iconic year-round mountain destinations.

Requirements

• Smart Serve Certification
• Previous experience working in fast bar environment
• Detailed Orientated
• Customer service focused

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the restaurant or bar in the absence of Supervisor or Manager.
• Conducts pre-shift meetings, sharing information regarding food specials and promotions, daily goals and objectives.
• Assigns and oversees duties to ensure a high level of cleanliness in the bar area, servery and keg storage rooms.
• Records and reports wastage and spillage to supervisors and directors.
• Assist servers in accurately processing transactions, deposits, cash-outs and tips at the end of shift.
• Corrects voids and cash errors, and processes discounts, in the absence of Supervisor or Manager.
• Performs duties of servers, including POS entries, interacting professionally with guests, general cleaning, and serving customers etc.
