Under the supervision of the Group Sales or Department Manager, the Team Leader provides daily direction to associates within a store department, focusing on merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, stocking, and customer service activities. This role specifically supports the Group Sales Manager (GSM) / Department Manager (DM) in leading firearm sales and ensuring compliance with ATF, state, local laws, and company policies, including specific firearm forms (4473, 3310). The Team Leader is responsible for guiding Sales Outfitters in firearm safe handling, safety, operations, and customer experience standards. Key objectives include supporting the GSM / DM in achieving Departmental Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory Shrinkage, and Payroll Goals, while ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience and maintaining high customer service standards.
