Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Over 3 years related experience.
  • Must attend Anthony’s Leadership Training Course within three months of promotion or date of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • AS400 experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leading and directing manufacturing teams.
  • Ensuring SQDC (Safety-Quality-Delivery-Cost) and Lean responsiveness.
  • Conducting daily board (huddle group) team meetings focused on area performance.
  • Leading the sustainability of continuous improvement, Standard Work, Built-in-Quality, and Small lot presentation to the line.
  • Interpreting and ensuring compliance of company policies and safety regulations.
  • Recommending and implementing measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Leading group problem-solving teams.
  • Analyzing and resolving work problems or assisting workers in solving work problems using PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) process.
  • Performing activities of workers in group as a backup only.
  • Maintaining efficiency levels to plan AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
  • Daily start-up plan preparation and execution.
  • Responsible for update and maintenance of cross-functional training matrix.
  • Assuring that hourly performance boards are maintained with input and variance causes, inclusive of all visual display boards.
  • Participating with manufacturing engineering in assuring on-time delivery to customers or other departments (internal customers) through Kaizen processes.
  • Effectively leading daily Kaizen activities and documenting them.
  • Conducting continuous level load scheduling.
  • Coordinating material scheduling and kitting to assure no shortages to the lines.
  • Maintaining 6S throughout the shift and Operator PM checklists.
  • Maintaining a well-prepared absenteeism representative.
  • Implementing and sustaining Standard work procedures and practices as a key activity, also sustaining Visual Boards and Controls.
