About The Position

As Team Leader, Contract Administration, you will play a key role in managing your team’s day-to-day operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines in file processing. This position offers a great opportunity to showcase your leadership skills by acting as a hands-on leader, subject matter resource, and liaison between the team, management, and internal partners. You will actively contribute to achieving operational objectives, continuous process improvement, and employee development, within an environment where people and their growth are at the heart of priorities, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills, as well as rigor and a strong focus on quality and internal customer service.
  • Mobilizing leadership, a coaching- and collaboration-oriented approach, and the ability to positively influence the team.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and sound decision-making in a constantly evolving operational environment.
  • Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as adaptability and a strong sense of accountability.
  • College or university degree in a relevant field.
  • Significant experience in contract administration or a similar operational environment.
  • Experience in team coordination, functional leadership, or a reference role.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in English and in French.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the team’s daily activities to ensure service levels and timelines are met.
  • Manage workload distribution, priorities, and adjustments based on volumes, absences, and operational needs.
  • Monitor performance indicators, analyze variances, and implement required corrective actions.
  • Take ownership of complex files and escalation cases, and ensure their resolution in collaboration with the relevant partners.
  • Ensure the rigorous application of applicable policies, procedures, and business rules.
  • Guide, engage, and support team members by acting as a hands-on coach and providing regular, constructive feedback.
  • Identify training needs, participate in onboarding new employees, and support skills development.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and collaborate on cross-functional projects with management and partner teams.
