About The Position

Pawnee Mental Health is seeking a motivated and passionate Team Lead Community Service to assist the regional Community Services Supervisor in managing staff and supporting program needs. This role involves coordinating meetings, training, overseeing staff service provision, and ensuring administrative and clinical documentation requirements are met. The Team Lead will monitor staff performance, assist with hiring and discipline, train new staff, and help increase team skill competency. This position also involves networking in the community, attending meetings, collaborating with the management team, and staying updated on relevant knowledge and skills. A strong commitment to client care, agency standards, and ethical practices is essential. The role requires demonstrating sensitivity to cultural and ethnic differences and performing other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year of experience substituting for one year of education.
  • Basic personal computer skills which enable the entry, retrieval and use of electronic data.
  • A valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance maintained in accordance with Pawnee policy and procedure.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the regional Community Services Supervisor in managing staff in the program and supporting program needs.
  • Coordinate meetings, training, and oversee staff service provision to meet competence per agency standards.
  • Meet and comply with expected administrative and clinical documentation requirements.
  • Monitor that assigned team members in their first quarter of employment have an adjudicated or “clean” claim within 5 days of services provided.
  • Assist Supervisor in monitoring that all staff are completing notes by 11:59 the following day for staff employed for more than one quarter.
  • Ensure assigned staff fill their weekly schedule to be successful in meeting client needs and agency expectations.
  • Meet client care expectations and comply with other established productivity standards.
  • Attend and actively participate in clinical supervision and program staffing.
  • Provide input to supervisors and other treatment team members regarding clinical and program issues.
  • Network in the communities to increase awareness of the program and to learn about new programs.
  • Attend all meetings assigned within the community and on the state level.
  • Work cooperatively with the Management Team and other staff in sharing resources and expertise.
  • Maintain knowledge and skills related to field of work through regular review of written materials and attendance at training events.
  • Adhere to the standards, policies and instructions established by PMHS Policy and Procedure and any applicable ethical codes.
  • Manage a team of staff as assigned by the YCS Supervisor.
  • Build collaboration and teamwork.
  • Monitor that expectations are met by team staff.
  • Work closely with direct supervisor on hiring and discipline actions as needed or assigned.
  • Train new staff on team.
  • Help increase skill competency of team through observing, training, and supervision meetings.
  • Research and present new or updated training and information to team to increase team competency.
  • Assist team with crisis situations that may arise.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to all cultural and ethnic differences.
  • Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.
