About The Position

The Team/Crew Member performs basic operational duties to provide quality products and service to guests. The position performs assigned restaurant stations and follows company policies, procedures, and operational standards. It also includes regular cleaning and sanitation, reporting customer or employee issues to the Manager on Duty, and moving and stocking food products weighing up to 50 pounds. Hours are irregular and may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• General restaurant or retail knowledge.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Multitasking skills.
• Ability to perform work involving continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting.
• Ability to work with frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking and to freezer conditions when stocking food items; occasional exposure to extreme temperatures due to variable weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned station duties, including fountain and frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food preparation, and drive-thru if applicable, to meet operational standards.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitation, including disposing of trash; mopping and sweeping; washing dishes and food preparation tools; wiping counters; sanitizing food preparation areas; cleaning equipment; and emptying used grease.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Report customer or employee complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty.
• Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
