About The Position

Janitronics Facility Services is hiring a part-time Team Cleaning Specialist to help maintain a clean and healthy work environment for employees and customers. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $17 per hour. The role involves cleaning assigned areas, following company safety and security procedures, meeting productivity standards, and providing good customer service. The position includes physical work and exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants. Safety and chemical-use training is provided in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Travel is not required.

Requirements

Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
Good organization and time-management skills.
Ability to traverse the work site and transport equipment used to complete job functions.
Ability to reach areas below waist level and above the head.
Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work areas for opportunities and concerns.
Ability to transport up to 50 pounds through the work site as needed.
Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants.
Must meet minimum age requirements.
Attention to detail, dependability, integrity, flexibility, communication skills, customer service orientation, and ability to work as a team player.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Knowledge of English language structure and content, including word meanings and spelling, composition, and grammar.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed.
Resupply and restock supplies as needed.
Collect and dispose of trash in receptacles in assigned areas.
Follow company policies, established procedures, and safety and security programs.
Maintain productivity at or above company standards with minimal supervision.
