Teaching Partner, 0 - 3 Location: Sandwich Montessori School – Cape Cod Position Type: Full-Time Work alongside experienced Montessori educators in small classroom environments while learning the craft of teaching. This role is designed for individuals who want to begin a meaningful career in education while developing their skills through mentorship and daily classroom experience. Many of our strongest Teaching Partners are recent college graduates exploring long-term careers in education. Requirements

  • Completed or nearly completed college coursework toward a bachelor’s degree. Many of our strongest candidates are recent graduates or students finishing their final year of college.
  • Experience working with children in environments such as camps, tutoring, childcare, mentoring, or youth programs is highly valued.
  • A willingness to develop your craft as an educator through ongoing training and feedback.
  • Genuine commitment to learning and improving over time.

Nice To Haves

  • EEC Certification is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Montessori classroom routines and transitions
  • Helping prepare and maintain the classroom environment
  • Observing children and supporting their independence
  • Assisting with literacy routines and language-rich interactions
  • Maintaining clear communication with the classroom team
  • Contributing to a culture of respect, order, and curiosity
  • Over time, Teaching Partners begin leading small routines and developing their own classroom skills.
