About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with zero to three years of experience, who wishes to gain site development experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun! This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar ABET-accredited program
• Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required or pending
• Zero to three years’ experience
• Experience and/or interest in general site engineering including creating conceptual plans
• Experience with MS Office programs
• Desire to work as a pro-active team player
• Effective technical writing and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• A positive, can-do-attitude

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D drafting system and standards preferred

• Prepare water and sanitary sewer utility plans
• Design for ADA accessibility
• Design other associated improvements
