About The Position

Leading Edge is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support our before and after-school programming in the Sayreville area. Our before and after-school programs provide a safe, engaging environment where students build academic skills, confidence, and meaningful relationships. This position is especially well-suited for individuals who are available consistently in the early mornings, want flexible afternoon hours based on availability, are looking to gain experience in education, enjoy working with elementary-aged children, and are seeking part-time work with purpose.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of childcare or education experience preferred
• Ability to pass all required PA background clearances
• Must be available Monday–Friday mornings (6:50 am – 8:45 am)
• Reliable transportation (ability to travel locally for optional shifts)

Responsibilities

• Support daily program activities and supervise students
• Assist with homework help and enrichment activities
• Maintain program quality in alignment with company and state standards
• Communicate professionally with families and school staff
• Ensure student safety and proper ratios at all times
• Create a positive, structured, and engaging environment
